Chicken Rod Nationals

Lincoln Square

The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce proudly hosts the Chicken Rod Nationals, an event that debuted in 2011 with the primary aim of supporting the Lincoln Senior Center. This event receives generous sponsorship from numerous local businesses, too numerous to mention individually. Participants can compete in various classes, and the event welcomes rusty rods and vehicles with open headers. Attendees can also enjoy live music and delicious food offerings during the festivities.

Lincoln High School 

4th of July Celebration

July (Annually)

The Independence Day festivities are held at Lincoln High School, courtesy of Beau Gage, a beloved community event organizer, and many sponsors. Attendees can enjoy hot dogs, chips, and drinks, available while supplies last. As the day transitions into evening, a spectacular fireworks display lights up the sky, commencing at dusk.

Lincoln Riding Club Rodeo

The Lincoln Riding Club organizes the Annual Lincoln Rodeo, generously sponsored by numerous local businesses.

Since 1953, the Lincoln Riding Club has been the proud host of this yearly rodeo extravaganza. The three-day celebration features bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, a delightful beauty pageant, and a vibrant street dance.

Arkansas Apple Festival

First Weekend In October

The Annual Arkansas Apple Festival is the largest event hosted in Lincoln by far, with over 70,000 attendees during the 2008 Apple Festival; it is not an event you can miss. Complete with free apples, apple cider tasting, craft vendors, food vendors, a parade, and more, it will never leave you un-entertained.

Truck or Treat

October (Annually)

Lincoln Square

The annual Trunk or Treat event, organized by the City of Lincoln, unfolds right at Lincoln Square. This festive occasion brings together numerous local businesses, each eagerly distributing candy to delightfully costumed children. It provides a convenient one-stop destination for kids to collect their treats while showcasing their adorable costumes.

Crusie in on the 

Square

November (Annually)

Lincoln Square

Join us at Cruise on the Square for a $5.00 breakfast at the Lincoln Senior Center from 8 to 10 am. Enjoy biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage or bacon, and a drink. Check out cool cars, a Fire Truck on display, and meet firemen. Proceeds support the Lincoln Fire Department, Masonic Lodge, and Lincoln Senior Center. Family-friendly fun for a good cause!

Christmas on the Square

December (Annually)

Lincoln Square

Christmas on the Square is a yearly celebration organized by the city of Lincoln. Attendees can grab complimentary take-out smoked chicken dinners at the Lincoln Library's front doors on the Square. The event offers pony rides, delicious kettle corn, and a visit from Santa Claus, all designed to bring joy to children and families. The meal is generously sponsored by Tyson Foods and the City of Lincoln.
